Beach Trip

We got back from the beach Thursday night. It was such a fun trip! A big thanks to John and Kelly Childress for letting us stay at their house! They live a block from the beach on the Isle of Palms, isn't that amazing? It was so much fun. Here they are:

Here are a few of our favorite things from the trip:

1. Our first night there, we listened to the girls giggle and talk in their room for a couple of hours before they fell asleep. At one point we found Belle in Lucy's Pac N Play with Lucy - such a sweet sister moment.
2. Collecting shells with Belle.
3. Jumping the waves with Lucy and hearing her giggle like crazy.
4. Jumping the big waves with Belle. She was so brave!
5. How dirty Lucy got in the sand. (Especially considering how Belle loves being clean.)
6. Seeing dolphins, seagulls, pelicans, a ray, starfish, crabs, fish, and a shark (ok, maybe I wasn't excited about the shark!) And how excited the girls got about seeing those things.
7. Having fun with John and Kelly.
8. Our perfect night out. The 4 of us went to a restaurant with a view of the ocean and it was just perfect. The food was yummy, the scenery was amazing, and the breeze was so nice.
9. Stopping in Charleston on our way home and walking along the battery.
