Good Idea: Having talented, well trained, entertaining chefs cook in front of customers at Japanese restaurants.Bad Idea: Having boring waiters mix a few ingredients together to make "Guacamole Live" beside our table at On the Border.
We love guacamole, and Belle could eat just guac for a meal. But enduring the "Live" part of "Guacamole Live" is so awkward that it almost stops me from ordering it. I've totally given up on acting like I'm interested in watching somebody stir. I wonder if they would be offended if I asked them to go ahead and mix it up backstage.
